this is a 1970 something case 646 full hydro with loader bucket
she's used and abused but everything works on it
does leak a little hydro oil
runs a little rough this year, prolly just needs the carb cleaned or maybe just fresh gas, was stored with stabil
has a 16 or 17Horse Onan engine on it
tires are in pretty good condition, we had to air one of them up the other day when we got it out of storage.

My brother bought this
he did a bunch of landscaping in his yard, moved dirt, rock and mulch.
this will load full size pick up truck over the side of the bed.
didn't get used much last year, so it's time to let her go.

I can take more pictures if need be, or it can be viewed here in bettendorf monday through thursday pretty much any time, weekends in the afternoon by appointment

how about come and take a look and make an offer?

For the price and its even negotiable, it appears decent. He says abused but it doesn't look too bad in the photos. White paint is not original correct? One could live with the white paint for a while I would think pending a nice paint job. We have seen the FEL non-runners go for $1500 on E Bay.
Power steering on this one? Original engine? :222: :446: Best Regards, Rich

Dang you guys just want to live in an Amish society or maybe old "Power Red" China  where everything all looks the same. You didn't see past the wrong paint job on this tractor to see that it's a backhoe model. It's still even got the counter weight hanging off of the rear for ballast.
Don't get me wrong I do realize it's just another pos since it's missing the inspection cover.

I am going to disagree with you, a 646 LBH has no rear counter weight, the backhoe is the counterweight, the is a weight added to the front to counter act the weight of the backhole.

Ted,
I think that cp7 is correct. Someone has remove the hoe from this 646 and then removed the sub-frame that how mounts on. Then the removed the weights from the sub-frame and installed them on the rear to act as a counterweight for the loader. After all, this tractor does have the flotation kit on it and I have yet to see a straight loader tractor with that flotation kit but there's always a first time.

From the pics on clist you couldn't tell what was hanging behind the seat and it looked almost like they relocated the battery. I wasn't expecting to see what the picture he sent me reveled. Makes you wonder where the hoe went.
I've got most of the pieces that he's missing. I'd love to have the flotation trans and that weight.
