I wouldn't call this a restoration project...it would be more of a refurbished job. With that said, I hope that there has been no violation to forum rules...by posting a refurbished project here.

Well I know some of you guys have seen these pictures before but what the hell, I will share again. And besides...I like looking at pictures of Case tractors myself.

This is a 1977 446 that I refurbished last year! My original plan after purchasing this tractor was just to part it out. All I wanted was the engine from it...but couldn't bring myself to do it...

It has been many years since of have done any painting...I thought it would be kind of fun to try again! I do see some more painting in the future on some of my other tractors... :446:

AWESOME Job! Q for ya is that single stage?or did you base and clear it? BTW that is a very good lookin tractor for sure!
No clear was used, I just used CNH paint purchased form the local Case/IH dealer. I was told once that 95% of a paint job is the prep work...and that is true!

No kidding, if that is what you call a refurbish, a full resto must be out of this world! Great looking paint!! Great looking tractor!!!
Thanks Buddy! Someday I would like to do a trailer queen...but haven't found her yet...
Did you get a chance to paint your cab?

very nice. Now I know what my 77 446 will look like when it goes under the knife in the summer time.
Hey Brad!

Haven't been around for some time now... Did you got your 400 series tractor? COOL  And a 77 to boot? Thanks, I know your 77 will turn out as nice as your 222/4 because you did a great job on it. Looking forward to seeing pictures...

Very nicely done! Good job and thank you for sharing. I like this year GT since the hood decal is unique with it's solid stripe.
Thanks! The unique solid stripe on the hood is one of the reasons that I couldn't bring myself to part this one out.

Cheers
