It should fit as you can angle the blade. To be 100% sure, take a couple crescent wrenches and worst case you can un bolt the blade at the pivot bolt.

I need to know if it will fit in the back of my SUV or do I need to take a trailer. My SUV hatch height about 26", width and length shouldn't be a problem. Will the blade fit if it is face down?

It's a one bolt affair and may make it more stable by laying the two pieces flat to avoid damage to your vehicle.Thanks for the reply. I never thought about disassembly but you are right that would work.
