Whats everyone using on tuning these B48's up? My 448 has Champion RJ18YC plugs I believe its suppose to have RJ14YC plug.
Is it true the Onan motors are finicky about what kind of plugs you use in them? Thanks

We spec the RH18Y for B series Onan and seems to work very well for all my customers ...

Thanks Brian since my last talk with you I went out and bought the RH18Y on your advice .What info I can gather the RJ18YC has a 3/8" reach and the RH18Y has a 7/16" reach ,thanks again.

I actually went out to see what mine were yesterday to let you know and by the time I got back in to tell you I forgot already. :lol: The sad thing is I'm not that old. :lol: :roll:
Anyway like Brian said Champion RH18Y is spec'd and is what I use and have had good results. I've never had a problem with my Onans going through spark plugs outside the norm... I do always check the gap (even on new ones) as I have had to adjust the majority of them.

Boy I know how how that is I wouldn't even attempt that I would have to write it down. By the time I got in the house the number that I had locked in my mind (using the term losely) would probably get you a plug for a Wright radial motor. But I have an excuse I think I am turning into an ole goat. :facepalm:
