Wasn't torn up ratty seats on a tractor for sale being bitched about the other day?

I did not comment on the seat because it was totally obvious and it was also the ONLY visible deficiency. On-site inspection of the tractor will truly tell the story because if this has been tarted up by way of a rattle-cans, then that too will be obvious. Photos only tell part of the story and they often make the tractor look better than it really is.

As for cl_leg, he has a lot of questions to answer, don't you agree?

Now you tell me. I wish you would have given that advice before I met the wife.

cl's just got a bug up his *** about your valuations and opinions. Like he's the first person that's ever had that issue with you. He sounds like a knowledgeable and intelligent guy and will be a great asset once you can get him to post some of that knowledge. In the years that I've read your post it seams like you have about a 500 batting average with people.
Lots of us missed your style there for awhile and are glad to have the benefit of your experience again (and forever, unless there's a coup) long live the king.
I was just kiding on the seat deal.

I get the same impression. Why can't we all just agree to disagree? Chris, lets move on, and start by telling us a little about that sweet 646B I just looked at in the gallery. I've never seen one with a white hood, is that factory? And what years?

C'mon guys. Let's not be too harsh. I have no problem with any member voicing their opinion about what goes on here. We try our best to adhere to the principles of democracy. Chris's thread provided many of you an opportunity to voice your opinion about this issue and also about the site in general. Don't think for a second that such feedback is not important to all of us in ADMIN.

As a Canadian and a resident of Ontario, I've seen many Kijji listings for these tractors where the prices shown are dramatically higher than those in many parts of the USA. I've pretty much stopped trying to buy anything local any more. That's why there are five pieces belonging to me, keeping Jack's sheep company. Oh, one more thing. If you look at the links below, keep in mind that it will now cost you more than one of your dollars to buy a Canadian dollar.

For sure.... location does matter. However, the collectors that I know here in Ontario, mostly look south when in search of their next addition. Colt was never sold in Canada. Those who want one have no choice but to cross the border. Once you have done that, then you don't bother chasing tractors here any more.

A buddy of mine makes trips to Portland and other shows plus he visits with Steve Guider on a regular basis.
