Well, I have mowed twice with it and my wife swept the yard with it so far, it runs like a champ now and doesn't burn a drop of oil.. I now have a grand total of $543.00 in it now so I think it was quite a good deal... It still doesn't measure up to the high wheel models though IMO. I cleaned it up a little today and snapped a few pics... enjoy!!

It looks pretty sweet. :trink:

You better put your deck guard on before you chop your feet off though.
Hi dbeiter,
Great to hear it!!
A word of caution to all who have electric PTO clutches, they don't last forever!!!
I change the engine oil in my 4018/Vanguard repower every 25 hours and oil filters every other oil change, but while I'm there I unplug the connector to the electric clutch and check the resistance of the coil and also from the coil to ground to see if it is still in spec. If the clutch coil shorts to ground, the path of least resistance is thru the crankshaft and the main and or connecting rod bearings to ground. If this happens, the bearings will be destroyed from the flow of electricity and cause a major internal engine failure.
Don't forget to reconnect the connector after performing this recommended inspection!!!!
Bob MacGregor in CT
Dave, you got a really nice machine there for the money spent. Yeah, I like the big wheel tractors better, but for mowing, the Odyssey was as pleasant a tractor to operate as I've been on.
That is a nice looking machine.

Maynard :canada:
Dave: Glad you got it squared away. That's a great deal for a sharp GT. Good luck with it.
