At about $10 per hundred pounds he wasn't just throwing it away but pretty close.
Now if you want to talk about just throwing stuff away my brother and I just ran threw the bulky item pickup in KC where people set things out to the curb for the trash. They do it once a year and it's almost as profitable as it is entertaining. We probably made a few grand in a couple evenings. Found a JD self propelled walk behind that started on the first pull. It was setting next to an empty box for a new mower. Go figure. Already sold a couple of the guitar amps we found. I say thank God for goofy people.
