I tried to look up what year one of my 444's is in the charts, but the number on mine doesn't seem to fit. The no. is 9635296 Can anyone help?

It looks like it's older than a 72. I'm sure someone will shed some more light on it.

Does it have snap fast connectors in the front? If it does I think that puts it at least a 1971, if not then it's older than that.

Your Case 444PK is a 1969 model.

I didn't go back out to check, but I don't think it has the snap fast connectors.

What color should this tractor be? I thought ones of this vintage were desert sand or something like that. Mine's red, but may have been repainted.
I'll take some pic's of it & post them when I get a chance.

I bought this tractor for parts (wheels) & the sleeve hitch that came with it, but I may make a project out of it. The engine had been pulled by the previous owner because he wanted it for his 224. He included the 14 hp Kohler from his 224 in the sale & said that he made the switch because his original 224 engine smoked.

Desert Sunset and I think it is old enough to be Flambeau Red. I may be wrong on the red, if I am it's Power Red. Somebody will let you which red is correct.

Al, I wouldn't use that one for parts...The PK tractors were a one-year only deal (1969, the first year for the 200 and 400 series) so I would make a project out of it. The paint and decals would be like my 220PK...This one is all original and I haven't gotten around to doing anything with it yet.
