What's up with this tractor?

- this began life as a Sunset model.....probably 1973/4 or 5

- I have no idea what hitch is on the back but it wasn't made by Case

- I have no idea what purpose that contraption on the front serves

At best, the basic tractor is worth $500.00

The badly rusted ground engaging equipment might be worth another $300.00 to $400.00

No one in their right mind would pay this guy anywhere close to his asking price but then again.............there are quite a few crazies out there. :sidelaugh:

I like the tires, but the front wheels don't appear to be Case wheels. When I bought my X-trac tires from Surplus Center, they were mounted on snowblower wheels. If that's what he used, he had to put in bushings as the bore in those wheels are not big enough for bearings.

:headscratcher: Well Maintained? :sidelaugh: :sidelaugh: :sidelaugh:
If it were well maintained it would be at least 90% original.
Should look like this... :222:
That price is just dumb.

My first thought was that a hillbilly had set it up to plant "food plots" for deer hunting. Having Appalachian roots, I have been exposed to such things on a regular basis.

If he was asking 7, i'd offer 3 1/2, and settle for no more than 4 1/2.

is that a ferrari sitting next to that GT?
