After having the wheel weigths painted for 6 months and the tractor paint for 2 months now, I decided to put one of the weights on today. Getting closer to you know what, so I have to get started and get all the snow removal tractors ready. So after a lot of struggling and paint scratches, I have one on. Don’t look to bad. But I kinda liked the white wheel. I’ll get use to it. These are 75 lb front wheel farm tractor weights. Fit perfect. And I have chains to put on too, they were on the original turf tires, so I’ll see if they will fit the ag tires.

Noel, I made up a wheel weight caddy from a small movers dolly to store and move and install the rear weights, each side weighs 104 lbs. Yours have bigger centers, but something like this may work. It's basically a jack, a shaft with PVC pipe so the weights slide into the opening.

They are off a Ford tractor model 3900 I believe. They are front wheel weights for that tractor. Most any older farm tractor that is two wheel drive and have 16” front wheels could have them. Fit perfect.

U know any other tractor wheel weights the will fit it looking for a set that's the center hole about 7-1/2" to 8" round because I'm looking to put wheel adapter on mine to make a dual wheels the ones u have looked to be perfect for what I'm looking for that would fit perfect between the 2 wheels

I don't have personal experience with duals. But years ago this subject came up and others said duals were OK for "parade queens" AKA "COOL factor", but not for working tractors. On rough terrain were the outside dual would be on high ground, you are putting a lot of torque on the axle hub. These guy's speaking from experience had snapped the hubs off of the axle shaft.

On ice you will have double the contact area, but only half of the pounds per square inch, unless you are adding more weights and fluid. But that brings us back to added torque on the hub. In snow the duals have twice the face to push through the snow, with single tires I can tell the difference between 23x8.5-12 and 23x10.50-12 tires, the wider 10.50 will spin easier with or without chains. Think of it this way, farmers use duals or even triples in the spring mostly for floatation in soft wet fields.

Oh I'm putting chains on all 4 with turf tires an im only setting this one up for snowblowing only an my other 446 I be using for all my summer needs and I'm setting up a 444 with a vanguard V-twin 18hp motor an only setup that just a plow

OK So just curious, did you set the second set of tire next to the others and measure how wide it will be with the duals on? The duals won't be very helpful if they are wider than the snow caster and running in / fighting the unblown snow.

Those wheel adapter came off a power king that why I'm looking for 2 sets of W-12 power king rear wheel weights or something like it as long I can put the weights between the 2 wheel in the inside

Duals are for flotation and less compaction only. We REMOVE excess weights on the rear axle when using them. The only extra weight sometimes needed is suitcase weights on the front end to keep some traction to the front axle when the draft or weight of the drawn or mounted implement is great.

Ya can't put any on the front if im using a snowblower

OK I measured my 448 the rears are 40" outer side wall to outer side wall. So if your tires are 8" wide and 1" gap that means you are going to be 18" wider than mine and you will be 10" wider than a 48" snow caster at 58". So you are going to need BIG wings on the caster or find a 5 foot snowblower to modify to fit your tractor.

i say it's even to me but I won't know till this summer an find everything I'm looking for to get it ready for next winter
