Hi guys, not been on here in a while again but this site, that used to be a go to place, really has gone down hill. As one of the founder members (January 2011) and someone that supplied a lot of original manuals to the site I am not only disappointed to see that a lot of them have just gone in this site update! A site that loses hard earned information, that in some cases is lost forever, is not a site that is servicing a need and our passion for our hobby. So can anyone, I mean anyone tell me why and where the site info has disappeared too? Right now I am not a happy camper here...I came to retrieve a couple of documents that I knew were here (I thought were in safe keeping) and they were gone! Sorry to be so negative. Ray

Hi Gordy, thanks for your support. I guess This might be one of my last times being on this site! I must admit it is hard, 11 years of providing information that has been discarded by site owners has taken a toll on my confidence that the site is for enthusiasts like myself, the bottom dollar is all they are here for and exploiting our hobby and knowledge base and a way to get there .. well you know the rest. I was an original user of the Yahoo site too and this has modeled that to a t and know what it has disappeared too. For me I came here to find things, to learn new things, to start to participating again in group discussions but I found everything has changed for the worst, that a lot of what we strived for has not only gone but has been lost too from this site. Anyone want to talk Case tractors? or are we really going to stick around when our site has been so violated. I guess there is nothing left for me here now. and will be moving to CCIGT with some ofmy friends from here.

Ray,

Welcome back, unfortunately to a much diminished site. We expressed our disappointment with the owners when they sprung this new format on us over a year ago but to little avail. The new owners are extremely slow to respond to recommendations and are seemingly apathetic about the concerns of the members. Many of the manuals should be here on the site. On behalf of those who have been around since the early days, my sincere apologies for the dumpster fire that this site has become. Some of us tried working with the management but you see that the site is still a far cry from what it once was. Tim

First off I want to apologize in advance for dragging up an old thread but thru circumstances tonight I had it pop up on my web search whilst sharing some information with someone. I had often times thought the manuals section a bit "clunky" and counter intuitive and when I read this it started to make sense. I guess my question concerning this is are we as a group going to at some point make it easier to have the correct manual intuitively match the link? I bring this up thinking from a "new member" perspective as I had a few friends over and had them just for S and G's peruse the manuals. Their unanimous response was "this isn't making sense" until I explained it to them.... Thoughts?

Hmm, which links don't reference the correct links?
On the subject of links,,
Manuals are typically held on a different server, and they link references over to that server. With the current owner of the site,,, They have not given any of the mods access so they could link stuff to a server, hence, we have what we have.
Some links, still work, and the ones that don't link to anything, I nuke and stuck on the file itself, so members can access the manuals.
If you look closely, some of the links I've put up, doesn't link to any site owned by the current owners of this site.

I have quite an extensive collection of PDF scans of Colt, Case & Ingersoll Parts Manuals and Operators manuals (just under 300). I also have a large collection of paper manuals that I collected first around the turn of the century for my 446, 646, & 7020. Many of the PDFs I have were originally downloaded from this site. If there is something specific you are looking for I would be glad to look through my files. I have also uploaded about 1/3 of my collection to one of the Facebook group sites (Log into Facebook). I am not sure if you need to join the FB group to upload/download the PDF files but there is no cost to join...
