When I registered on this site I skipped the intro. Lots of you may already be familiar with me form "OTHER FORUMS". My name is Terry, I am 53 years old and the father of three grown (maybe not matured) boys. I am a machinist by trade and a speed freak by nature. I have a hot rod Harley with an S&S 107 inch engine, that will run 10.98 seconds at 123MPH in the quarter mile, and a 2002 Dodge Cummins deisel powered truck that puts out 462HP and 969 TQ at the wheels. I have been married to my beautiful bride for 20 years now.

My current tractors are a 1978 Case 446 and a 1980 Case 222. I had a Simplicity Landlord tractor for 15 years and had zero problems with it. I sold it to buy a Cub Cadet ZTR50, just to free up some mowing time. After three years with the Cub zero turn, I couldn't take working on that POS all the time. I started doing some online research and stumbled onto the MTF and eventually the Case forum, and the rest is as they say history. I could not be more pleased with my decades old tractors and their capabilities. I have never even looked back since buying them.

Some pics of the Harley and truck for your viewing pleasure. The tractor I am assuming you have already seen.

Terry,
Welcome aboard.

Just so you know, there is no paranoia on this forum. We all know that My Tractor Forum, the Yahoo Colt, Case and Ingersoll group, GT Talk and Case-Ingersoll-Tractors along with others are out there. Unlike some of them, we have no issues with those names being mentioned. Members here are free to be a member of any number of groups. It's called Freedom and we celebrate that word.

We're glad to have you here as a member and that's all that matters to us.

We hope that all of our members feel the same way.

Tom

elcome to the site Terry. I just picked up a 1978 446 too. If you have pics of yours, I love to see them. I think I have the wrong decals on my hood but its no big deal at the moment.
Here is my workhorse.

When I bought the tractor the engine had only been in there for 4 years. Had 246 hours on the meter when I brought it home. I got it with a 60 inch deck, 54 inch blade (that the 222 wears quite well), snowcaster, custom mid mount blade, 2 drags, weights, chains, home made cab. I bought an n44 deck for it and traded the RM60 deck, which the PO was running backward for 7 years, for a tiller and a single bottom plow. I added the TPH and PTO that i was lucky enough to get from Boomer. Then I found the hydrabagger of CL for 200.
